From the likes of Jos Naylor, to the less seasoned walker, the problem of bruised toes can be a problem. This link includes a plethora of ideas in order to keep your 'tootsies' in tip top condition!
In 2001 Jill R. wrote: "Thanks for the advice. Had my boots years and apart from coming downhill they are great but coming to the end of their life and I don't want to make the same mistake again! I have always thought they were slightly too big so I have an insole in them and usually wear 3 pairs of socks (don't laugh!!) with a really good bouncy pair on the outside!! Found that to work best but my toes are still painful after a long walk."
