Photo of path sign at Stool EndConditions didn't look favourable for a high level traverse of any peak, but with my limited visits above  54 degrees north, I always leap at the chance to climb any fell, in any weather.  Andrew Leaney had already started the ball rolling with a suggested meet at the ODG in Great Langdale and I embraced the suggestion with open arms.  We had envisaged an ascent of Pike o'Blisco during the day but visibility was so poor we opted out.  On the outward leg however, I suggested a visit to Whorneyside Force which was spectacular after recent rain.  Put your waterproofs on and join in this clagged in, but interesting venture onto the fells:-
