mt_none:Photo of Peter and AndrewOn Saturday 10th November Peter Burgess led Richard Aubrey on his first ascent of a Lakeland fell.  It was a baptism by fire, well wind and rain actually, as the intrepid duo took their time to traverse the crest of Sharp Edge.  Richard made the crossing and should be proud of his first achievement.

On Sunday the OFC gathered for the annual act of Remembrance on the summit of Great Gable.  This story has been well covered on the website but people might be interested in a final selection of images from another great visit.  There's even a guest appearance from some else you might know!

By the way, watch out for Richard Aubrey, Andrew Leaney and Peter Burgess in this summit video.  The problem is, they are cunningly disguised inside the OFC luminescent, day glo bivi bag!  Three points if you can spot them:-
