Read more...After a day of touring 'pretty' places, Lorraine and I headed for Caw on Saturday.  An early start meant we were at Stephenson Ground at 08:30 and following the River Lickle upstream.

Read more...On Saturday, Lorraine and I drove up to Ribblehead with the plan of walking a bit of the Dales Way, the Ribble Way and the Pennine Way.  The idea was to walk Blea Moor after walking from Ribblehead to Grove Head.  However the plan changed.

Read more...Sunday's walk was intended to be Sheffield Pike and Glenridding Dodd, new turf for me, not for our companions though.  It thundered early in the morning and we thought we'd be calling the walk off, but, we decided to give it a go and see what happened.
