Read more...The OFC Wasdale meet was a wet affair.  Happily it didn't stop the day being totally enjoyable.  We arrived at the summit of the A6 in cloudy weather with little in the way of views.  Then it rained.

Read more...On Saturday Lorraine and I had a small but very rewarding walk up to Stickle Pike.  The weather was gloomy but the clouds broke and we saw the inversion lifting and settling on the high tops.  It was very hazy but local views were spot on.

Read more...On Saturday, Lorraine and I drove up to Ribblehead with the plan of walking a bit of the Dales Way, the Ribble Way and the Pennine Way.  The idea was to walk Blea Moor after walking from Ribblehead to Grove Head.  However the plan changed.
