Side Pike and Lingmoor Fell Print

On Saturday I met Lorraine at Windermere and drove into Langdale for a walk up Side Pike and Lingmoor Fell.

There was very little snow on the ground and even the high fells had lost much of their white coating.  It was easy going except for my back and hip problems, which made the last mile or so quite uncomfortable.

We walked from ODG up to Side Pike and then onto Lingmoor Fell before walking along the ridge then descending via the path on the north side of the fell down to Baisbrown.  The last step was following the Cumbria Way back to the ODG.

Many thanks to Lorraine for being great company and for driving so far for a short walk.
