			<description>On Saturday I met Lorraine at Windermere and drove into Langdale for a walk up Side Pike and Lingmoor Fell.  There was very little snow on the ground and even the high fells had lost much of their white coating.</description>

			<description>After Saturday&amp;#39;s poor do, we decided to have a walk up Lingmoor Fell.  We set out early and were soon halted by having to make regular stops for photos of rivers in spate, flooded hotels and overflowing lakes.</description>

			<title>Tarn Hows via Tom Gill</title>

			<description>Lorraine and I had a walk up to Tarn Hows.  We parked at Glen Mary car park.  It was dry to start off with and the rain only really started as we reached the tarn.  The Tom Gill waterfalls were superb, raging torrents in places. </description>
