Walked along the Loch Lee side into the wind and wondered whether we would get to the top. Went up beside the Falls of Unich through the corrie, plenty of spray from the falls but we were sheltered from the wind. Up on the shoulder of the hill was a different story, began to really worry whether we would get up, or should we turn back. The shoulder was very exposed to the wind, going down did not seem an option. Even changing direction was difficult. It's a long time since I have been on my hands and knees on a summit, standing was just too hard.

Came of the hill with wind at our backs, so we sort of ran or were blown off till we dropped down and found shelter behind some rocks, all a bit shaken and legs killing us. As we had lunch we sat watching the wind pick up water from the stream we were looking down on to. The wind picked the water up and carried it up the glen, high enough to wet us. Never seen that before.

As we headed home along the loch, the wind had increased even more and blew all 3 of us over at one stage. But we stood and watch the wind pick up the water on the loch; it was like a white curtain just amazing and a tad scary. Lots of photos but a bit blurred as I was being blown about.

Glad to get back to the car all very tired, backs and legs aching. We never learn do we? But boy it was a challenge and fun.
