mt_none:National Trust signFrom 1 November 2007 the two National Trust car parks at White Moss Common (NY 348 066 ) and Silverthwaite near Skelwith Bridge (NY 341 037 ) will no longer be free for NT members.

Apparently the NT lease these carparks from the owners, Lowther Estates and this lease comes to an end at the end of October, from which point Lowther Estates will take over their management.

Notices have been posted in both of these car parks and our thanks to John Paterson for providing this information. There are currently 21 other NT car parks that are free to NT members.
